HIBBERDENE FISHING SITES
BANANA BEACH – HIBBERDENE – Rock & Surf
A good spot to fish during winter. Predominant species: Shad, Garrick, Kob.
CRACKER BAY – UMZUMBE – Rock & Surf
Immediately south of Pumula Rocks and in front of the houses at Pumula. Predominant species: Shad, Garrick.
PUMULA ROCKS – UMZUMBE – Rock & Surf
Situated in front of the houses at Pumula. Predominant species: Shad, Garrick, Kob.
STIEBEL ROCKS – UMZUMBE – Rock & Surf
A rocky promontory protruding relatively far into the sea just south of the Umzumbe Hotel. Keep an eye on the waves. Predominant species: Shad, Karanteen, Blacktail, Garrick, Kingfish, Kob.
TIDAL POOL – HIBBERDENE – Rock & Surf
Fish from the rocks at the tidal pool. Predominant species: Shad, Garrick, Kob.
TURTLE BAY – BANANA BEACH – Rock & Surf
Immediately north of Banana Beach. Predominant species: Shad, Garrick, Kob.
